Responsibilities

  • Support in the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of the progress of small projects and sub-projects
  • Coordination and participation in the management of work packages in collaboration with project teams and external partners
  • Preparation and maintenance of project plans as well as support in project management, controlling, documentation, and communication
  • Organization, preparation, and follow-up of meetings, presentations, and reporting activities, including taking minutes
  • Identification of risks and support in the development and implementation of solution strategies
  • Handling of general administrative and organizational tasks

Admission Requirements

  • Completed or advanced education, university of applied sciences/university, a comparable relevant qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills

Desired Qualification

  • Initial practical experience in project management
  • Basic knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Structured, independent, and reliable way of working
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, as well as team spirit
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Willingness to learn new methods and tools, as well as to develop professionally
  • Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration at the intersection of education and IT
  • Knowledge of the Higher Education landscape in the DACH region, preferably at universities in Graz, is an asset

Martin Ebner is head of the organizational unit Educational Technology at Graz University of Technology. TU Graz Educational Technology's vision is to enhance and support face-to-face teaching through media use in order to improve communication and ensure continuity through reliable central support services. TU Graz should thus become a large learning and teaching community that is part of the information society of tomorrow. Responsible for educational technologies at TU Graz, Martin Ebner and his team have invested considerable effort not only into the design and development of learning management systems (e.g. TU Graz TeachCenter) but also into the planning and implementation of online courses, videos and online assessments. In addition, LLT focuses on Learning Analytics (LA), Academic Analytics (AA), and generative AI to support personalized learning experiences and innovative teaching concepts in digital education.
