Principal Embedded Software Engineer – Crypto

We are seeking a Principal Embedded Software Engineer – Crypto to join our team at the R+D Centre in Graz (Leuven or Bucharest would also be possible). The role involves developing state‑of‑the‑art cryptographic libraries with protection against physical and logical attacks across several emerging technologies, including Post‑Quantum Crypto.

Responsibilities

• Specification and implementation of cryptographic algorithms.
• Designing software countermeasures to prevent side‑channel and fault attacks.
• Developing embedded security software in C for countermeasures.
• Working on protection against physical and logical attacks across emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in a relevant subject.
• Multiple years of experience developing embedded security software and cryptography.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic primitives.
• Experience developing embedded software in C for countermeasures against side‑channel and fault attacks.
• Exposure to Post‑Quantum Cryptography or RISC‑V beneficial.
