Security Engineer – Azure, Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Proactively contribute to the development of security policies and security concepts
• Define and operationalize security requirements for cloud and Kubernetes environments
• Support implementation of security measures in Azure and Kubernetes
• Coordinate security topics (e.g., measures from audits such as ISO)
• Integrate security into modern cloud architectures (DevSecOps)
• Collaborate with development and platform teams to increase security in practice

Requirements

• Completed education with a focus on software development (technical college/HTL, University of Applied Sciences - FH, or university)
• Relevant professional experience in a comparable field
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized architectures
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud and container environments
• Experience implementing security measures
• Basic understanding of compliance requirements (e.g., ISO audits)
• Experience in software development or operational roles (Dev / Ops / DevOps)
