Job Duties:

• Independent research and active participation in cooperative research projects of the institute, in particular, in the development, evaluation, and practical application of machine learning methods (especially deep learning)
• Publication of scientific results in renowned international journals and conferences
• Supervision of students in seminars and projects; co-supervision of bachelor and master theses
• Participation in teaching of the institute's courses and administrative tasks

Your Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master's degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant discipline (artificial intelligence, computer science, mathematics, bioinformatics, statistics, or related)
• Research orientation and strong motivation to make a dissertation
• Very good knowledge of tTheory and practice of machine learning, e.g. Deep Learning (, Reinforcement learning, and Probabilistic modeling
• Excellent skills in Python programming
• Full command of German and English (German level C1, English level B2)
