Role Overview

As a Senior Solutions Architect – Data & AI, you will lead end-to-end customer engagements across the DACH region – from presales and solution design to hands‑on delivery. You act as a trusted advisor for customers while also staying close to implementation and execution.

Practical Information

• Location: Wien, Austria
• Reports to: Solution Architecture Lead
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid
• Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Austria
• Language Requirements: Strong German and English communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Transform data science and GenAI prototypes into scalable, production‑ready systems
• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and generative AI models across various domains
• Build and maintain robust ML pipelines including data ingestion, training, evaluation, and deployment
• Develop and integrate LLM‑based applications including RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and fine‑tuning
• Optimize models for performance, scalability, latency, and cost while ensuring data quality, validation, and testing
• Monitor model performance and implement continuous improvements across ML systems
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers

What we need to see from you

Must‑have

• Experience as a Solutions Architect in data platform and AI/GenAI environments
• Strong expertise in Azure, with working knowledge of AWS and/or GCP
• Proven pre‑sales experience (solution scoping, proposals, estimations)
• Hands‑on mindset – ability to contribute beyond advisory roles
• Excellent communication skills across technical and business audiences
• Fluent German and English (mandatory)

Nice‑to‑have

• Experience with lakehouse architectures, data mesh, or real‑time pipelines
• Knowledge of MLOps, data governance, or GenAI production setups
• Project or programme management experience
• Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP)

• Under the collective bargaining agreement, the minimum base salary is 4,061 EUR gross per month (38.5 hours/week), with the possibility of earning above the minimum
