Über die Position

Als Security Officer im Mandarin Oriental, Vienna bist du Teil des Security Teams und für verschiedene Aufgaben verantwortlich. Du berichtest an unseren Security Manager.

Als Security Officer wirst du für folgende Aufgabenverantwortlich sein:

• Gewährleistung der Sicherheit von Gästen, Mitarbeitenden und Eigentum auf dem gesamten Hotelgelände
• Überwachung und Kontrolle des Zugangs zu sensiblen und eingeschränkten Bereichen innerhalb des Hotels
• Professionelle Reaktion auf Notfallsituationen wie Feueralarme, medizinische Notfälle oder Sicherheitsverletzungen
• Durchführung regelmäßiger Kontrollgänge zur frühzeitigen Erkennung und Prävention potenzieller Gefahren
• Untersuchung von sicherheitsrelevanten Vorfällen und Erstellung strukturierter Berichte
• Unterstützung von Gästen und Mitarbeitenden bei sicherheitsbezogenen Anliegen
• Zusammenarbeit mit Polizei, Feuerwehr und Rettungsdiensten bei Bedarf
• Dokumentation aller Vorfälle und sicherheitsrelevanten Aktivitäten gemäß interner Standards

Als Security Officer erwarten wir von dir:

• Nachgewiesene Erfahrung im Bereich Sicherheit, idealerweise in der Hotellerie
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Gepflegtes, sicheres Auftreten sowie ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Sicherheits-, Brand- und Evakuierungsverfahren
• Organisationsgeschick und Fähigkeit, auch in Stresssituationen ruhig und besonnen zu agieren
• Fähigkeit zur Priorisierung und Einhaltung von Abläufen
• Höchstes Maß an Diskretion, Loyalität und Verantwortungsbewusstsein

Mandarin Oriental Vienna is looking for a Security Officer to join our Security Team.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Vienna within the Security Team in Vienna, the Security Officer is responsible for various duties. The Assistant Security Manager reports to the Security Manager.

As Security Officer you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property throughout the hotel premises
• Monitor and control access to sensitive and restricted areas within the hotel
• Respond professionally to emergency situations such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security breaches
• Conduct regular patrols to identify and prevent potential hazards at an early stage
• Investigate security-related incidents and prepare structured reports
• Assist guests and employees with security-related concerns
• Cooperate with police, fire department, and emergency services when needed
• Document all incidents and security-related activities in accordance with internal standards

As Security Officer we expect from you:

• Proven experience in the field of security, ideally within the hospitality industry
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Well-groomed appearance, confident demeanor, and strong communication skills
• Solid knowledge of safety, fire protection, and evacuation procedures
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow established procedures
• Highest level of discretion, loyalty, and sense of responsibility

The collective minimum gross monthly salary for this position is €2.263,00. There is a willingness to offer a higher salary depending on qualifications and work experience.
