Cyber Security Engineer

Full-time (38,5h) for our office in Vienna

We are looking for a new team member for our Threat Intelligence & Collaboration (TIC) and Threat Detection & Response (TDR) team to help take our Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) to the next level.

Your mission:

• You work with our Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) and pre-packaged intelligence in an international environment
• You share responsibility for the design, implementation, and maintenance of threat intelligence and security platform solutions
• You analyze cyber threat data to provide actionable intelligence and insights for the organization
• You collaborate closely with Incident Response, Threat Hunting, and Penetration Testing teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
• You monitor networks, systems, and security tools for anomalous activities and emerging threats
• Completed technical education and/or a degree in a relevant field
• Initial experience in cybersecurity areas such as Incident Response, Threat Hunting, or Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) analysis
• Proficiency in Python and practical experience using it
• Interest in and/or foundational knowledge of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI)
• Knowledge of complex networks, network protocols, and networking technologies
• Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows and Linux) as well as network security fundamentals
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a collaborative mindset with a willingness to work as part of a motivated team
• Fluency in German and good command of English
