Legal Counsel

Human Resources, Legal Management, M&A

Responsibilities

• Autonomously advise, plan, lead, organize and control legal aspects regarding many jurisdictions and solve complex legal questions in relation to the group’s business.
• Provide legal solutions and guidance on strategic projects, internal affairs, corporate law, M&A or financings.
• Support the business on legal aspects of the businesses.
• Create and maintain standard forms and contracts (English and partially in German) and provide standard contract templates for internal stakeholders.
• Be part of national and international dispute resolution (court, arbitration, administrative proceedings).
• Engage and coordinate with external law firms.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law and have passed the bar exam.
• 2‑4 years of working experience as legal counsel in an internationally active law firm and/or in a global corporation with considerable experience in corporate law and governance.
• Intercultural sensitivity, strong negotiation skills, assertiveness and the ability to work with a truly global and multidisciplinary team.
• Additional know‑how in a special legal or commercial field is a plus.
• Fluent in both English and German.
