For more information visit www.redbullmediahouse.com. We are looking for an intern (m/f) for our Equipment Rental Services team for 5-6 months. In this exciting internship, you will gain insights into workflows in production planning and follow up, especially in terms of fitting out productions with equipment in the field of moving images.
As intern in Equipment Rental Services you’ll get to build up knowledge about professional camera and post production technology, with the focus on its use and maintenance. Additionally, you’ll become aware of the required steps and procedures to assure ongoing equipment quality.
In the beginning, you’ll assist with preparing production set-ups of different sizes and later in your internship you’ll do it independently.
As intern you’ll get to know various aspects in the area of special cameras (slow motion, timelapse, stabilization system), mobile production (mobile editing suite, raid and server structures, data management) as well as aerial media (helicopter and drone). You’ll support in planning productions, preparing and revising of productions and - depending on the schedule - support productions on site.
Concerning services, you’ll learn how to execute routine checks of media equipment as well as individual functional tests to ensure the maximum operational availability of the gears for new missions.
Basic knowledge about video production equipment: lenses, sensors, codecs, camera accessories and postproduction hardware
Strong interest in media productions
Service-oriented approach, self-organized, able to work under pressure and team player
Driver’s license B
Able to lift heavy gear (move/carry gear of +/- 30kg)
