University Assistant (PhD Position)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Independent research in the field of ultracold quantum gases
• Independent teaching
• Co-supervision of students
• Outreach activities and education and training
• Administrative tasks

Your profile:

• Completed relevant Master's, Magister or Diplom degree in technical physics
• Very good knowledge of English
• Knowledge and experience in experimental quantum physics and quantum optics, in particular with particle traps and laser cooling as well as matter wave interferometry and in dealing with magneto-optical traps
• Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
• Ability to work in a team with project groups
• Creative problem-solving skills
