Senior Scientist (Doctorate/PhD)

Your tasks:

• Independent research work on the archive's holdings
• Independent organisation of courses, holding of examinations, supervision of internships and final theses (BA, MA)
• Archiving work (acquisition, indexing and cataloguing according to current regulations)
• Management of projects on archive holdings

Your profile:

• Doctorate in the field of literary studies (modern German literature)
• Very good knowledge of Austrian literature of the 20th century in a cultural-historical context
• Publication and lecture activities, preferably in the fields of transmission culture, editorial philology, biography
• Experience in applying for national research projects
• Practical experience in the development and application of standards in literary archives
• Basic knowledge of musicology and art history; gender-orientated practice; supervision of students including assessment of bachelor theses
• Ability to work in a team
