University Assistant (postdoc)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Teaching in the field of Modern German Literature and in the Master's programme Media;
• Independent research in the field of modern German literature with a focus on media cultural studies
• Collaboration in the self-administration

Your profile:

• Above-average doctorate in the field of Modern German Literature or Media Cultural Studies
• Academic publications and lectures that go beyond the dissertation
• Ability to independently design and organise courses and supervise theses
• Submission of a maximum three-page project outline for a research project at the intersection of modern German literature and media cultural studies
• Experience in organising conferences
• Desired additional qualifications: Experience of travelling, ability to work in a team, independence and good communication skills
