Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Dissertation in the field of geotechnics and natural hazards
- Own research with the aim of writing a dissertation
- Teaching in the field of geotechnics and natural hazards
- Participation in research projects
- Administrative tasks
- Training and further education
Your profile:
- Completed relevant master's or diploma programme (civil engineering, environmental engineering)
- In-depth knowledge of: Geotechnics, numerical calculations with discrete element method, model tests, laboratory tests, geotechnical measurements, natural hazards, mass movements, rockfall modelling, geotechnical field tests
- Very good knowledge of German (written and spoken)
- Good knowledge of English
- Ability to work independently
- Interdisciplinary interest
- Co-operative character
- Ability to work in a team, creative problem-solving skills
- Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
