Expansion Controller (f/m)
 
for all H&M brands in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Georgia.
As Expansion Controller you contribute to H&M’s business success by acting in line with our values and being a role model.
 
Your responsibilities:
  • Evaluate your market’s expansion strategy and make sure it’s aligned with H&M’s expansion strategy.
  • Set targets to reach the quantity and quality goals agreed with global leasing.
  • Steer target settings in your department by translating the overall targets into project targets.
  • Be responsible for controlling the Three-year-plan.
  • Perform and support key analyses on major KPIs to ensure that quality targets are reached.
  • Follow-up on the performance of newly opened stores and rebuilds and take action on negative trends.
  • Support decision making by providing other departments with necessary information and key input.
  • Work in strong collaboration with the expansion manager, country controller, and other controllers in your market and with the global lease controller in Stockholm.
  • Improve quality and efficiency by combing local learnings with best-practice from other markets and introduce those methods.
Your profile:
  • You have a university degree, preferably with a finance, business or economics major.
  • You have gained profound work experience in a similar position.
  • Preferably, you have 2 years of experience in finance, business consulting, expansion or real estate.
  • You are fluent in German and English. Good command of Croatian, Serbian or Slovenian is an asset.
  • You are a team player, being open-minded and flexible while communicating clearly.
  • You make responsible decisions and see the bigger picture.
  • You have excellent analytical skills with solid strategic thinking
  • You act with trust and integrity.
  • You are innovative and efficiency-oriented, result-driven and business-minded and have strong organizational planning skills.

Your annual gross salary starts at € 35000, - depending on your qualification and professional experience.
