Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Doctoral thesis in the field of digital media education in school (especially dissertation) and participation in research projects in the area of media education, didactics and media literacy studies 
• Independent research-led teaching in media education for school and media literacy studies
• Lecturing and publishing activities; involvement in higher education in media education and media literacy studies
• Training and further education
• Administrative tasks

Your profile:

• Completed degree in educational research with a focus on media education, media didactics or similar (diploma/master's or comparable degree) or completed teacher training programme (diploma/master's or comparable) in humanities, cultural studies and/or computer science subjects.
• Required: Please enclose a written proposal on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
• Very good IT skills; knowledge of qualitative research approaches
• Desirable: Experience in university teaching and in other practical educational contexts; proven participation in relevant conferences; basic knowledge of qualitative research methods; initial publication experience
• Creative problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team, pedagogical and didactic skills
