University Assistant (PhD position)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

  • Dissertation in the field of electrocatalysis and in-situ analysis
  • Independent research in the field of fundamental electrocatalysis including quantitative product analysis, the synthesis of catalyst materials and in-situ analysis using electrochemical scanning tunnelling microscopy (EC-STM)
  • Independent teaching in physical chemistry
  • (Co-)supervision of Bachelor's and Master's theses
  • Training and further education
  • Administrative tasks

Your profile:

  • Completed relevant Master's, Magister or Diploma degree programme
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of electrocatalysis and electrochemical product analysis
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in the field of electrochemical scanning tunnelling microscopy (EC-STM)
  • Good communication skills and willingness to cooperate; didactic talent; organisational talent
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
