University Assistant (postdoc)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

  • Independent research in the teaching and research area of Conflict-Trauma-Violence
  • Independent organisation of courses and holding of examinations, primarily in the above-mentioned teaching and research area
  • Supervision of students incl. Supervision of bachelor theses
  • Participation in organisational and administrative tasks in university self-administration
  • Participation in further education programmes

Your profile:

  • Excellent doctorate in the field of education and educational sciences or a related field
  • Proven knowledge of violence and conflict research, particularly in the areas of epistemic violence and health sociology
  • Proven sound knowledge of methodology and methods in empirical social research
  • Proof of relevant teaching in various teaching formats at university level (BA/MA)
  • Publications beyond the dissertation and in internationally peer-reviewed journals desired
  • German language skills: C1 level according to CEFR, English proficiency: B2/C1
  • Relevant computer skills
  • Sense of responsibility, independence, teamwork and communication skills
