Job Description:
Your tasks:
- General and discipline-specific support and counselling of researchers in the field of research data management (RDM), FAIR Data and Open Science, in particular on data management plans
- Development of discipline-specific information and training material in the field of RDM, FAIR Data and Open Science, organisation of training courses and presentations
- Survey of best practices and needs among researchers at the faculty and in the discipline with regard to RDM and the challenges of data-driven research
- Selection, support of the introduction and management of discipline-specific RDM tools (service owner) in cooperation with the ZID
Your profile:
- Completed diploma or master's degree in a philosophical-historical field of study
- Interest in or experience in research data management, open science and FAIR data
- Knowledge of research practice and understanding of research processes and the role of data and data processing for the quality and reproducibility of research results Knowledge of software, file formats and standards commonly used in the discipline (e.g. Python, XML, TEI)
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Interest in or experience in consulting and training
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and precisely
- Ability to work in a team
- Customer and service orientation
- High level of reliability
- Commitment and willingness to undergo further training
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
