Your tasks:

• Dissertation in the field of "Contemporary History and Digital History"
• Independent research: Dissertation
• Independent teaching
• scientific Publications
• Training and further education
• Administrative tasks

Your profile:

• Completed relevant Master's, Magister or Diploma degree in History or a related discipline, preferably with a focus on contemporary history and its digital aspects; very good Diploma or Master's thesis (Diploma or Master's thesis must be attached in digital form)
• A connection to one of the existing doctoral programmes (Dynamics of Inequalities and Differences in the Age of Globalisation or Austrian Studies) and enrolment in the PhD or doctoral programme at the LFUI is desirable
• Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages); good written and spoken English skills.
• Ability to work in a team, flexibility, ability to work independently and communication skills
