Job Description:

Your tasks:

  • Independent research in the fields of sport and/or health psychology
  • Research-led teaching in the Department of Sport Science incl. Preparation and follow-up work as well as examination activities
  • Supervision of students incl. Supervision of Bachelor's theses; assistance in the supervision of Diploma and Master's students
  • Collaboration in organisational and administrative tasks; participation in the administration of the department, in particular coordination of third-party funded projects, organisation of scientific events
  • Further training; participation in conferences and congresses; further training

Your profile:

  • Completed doctoral studies in a subject-relevant discipline
  • essential requirement for this position is research experience in the fields of sport and/or health psychology
  • publication experience in the field of sport and/or health psychology
  • Ability to plan, apply for, implement and publish own research projects
  • Coordination and management of research projects
  • Excellent knowledge of statistics
  • Ability to teach courses in the Institute's sports science degree programmes
  • Very good command of English
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • ability to work in a team
  • good didactic ability
