Your tasks:

• Empirical cultural studies
• Independent research with the aim of writing a dissertation
• Independent teaching of courses in the BA and MA curricula European Ethnology or Empirical Cultural Studies and Cultural Anthropology with a focus on ethnography
• Participation in research projects and supervision of students
• Active participation in conferences, congresses and training courses
• Taking on administrative and coordinative tasks at the institute

Your profile:

• A Master's degree in Empirical Cultural Studies / European Ethnology / Cultural Anthropology / Folklore completed with above-average grades; good conceptual skills as well as very good oral and written expression; very good knowledge of German and English; ability to work in a team and co-operative working style.
• Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
