Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Support and further development of the existing solution for long-term archiving
• Support and further development of the Brenner Archive research institute's web applications
• Consultancy and support for digital editions and digital infrastructure
• Independent research and teaching, administrative tasks

Your profile:

• Completed diploma or master's degree in the humanities and sound knowledge of computer science or completed diploma or master's degree in computer science and sound knowledge of the humanities
• Experience with digital edition projects and project work in digital humanities
• Very good knowledge of the programming languages Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TEI and XML processing
• Very good knowledge of relational database systems (e.g. MySQL), as well as XML and graph databases (e.g. EXist-DB, GraphDB)
• Very good knowledge of the following frameworks and libraries: Spring Boot, Angular, Lucene, Maven, Hibernate, GIT
• ability to work in a team
• ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to cooperate with other institutions (especially DISC, ULB, ZID)
