Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Support and further development of the existing solution for long-term archiving
- Support and further development of the Brenner Archive research institute's web applications
- Consultancy and support for digital editions and digital infrastructure
- Independent research and teaching, administrative tasks
Your profile:
- Completed diploma or master's degree in the humanities and sound knowledge of computer science or completed diploma or master's degree in computer science and sound knowledge of the humanities
- Experience with digital edition projects and project work in digital humanities
- Very good knowledge of the programming languages Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TEI and XML processing
- Very good knowledge of relational database systems (e.g. MySQL), as well as XML and graph databases (e.g. EXist-DB, GraphDB)
- Very good knowledge of the following frameworks and libraries: Spring Boot, Angular, Lucene, Maven, Hibernate, GIT
- ability to work in a team
- ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to cooperate with other institutions (especially DISC, ULB, ZID)
