University Assistant (PhD position)

• Department of Business Informatics, Production Management and Logistics

Extent of employment:

• 20 hours per week; will be increased to 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Dissertation in the field of Information Systems
• Independent research in the area of Decentralised Autonomous Organizations
• Independent teaching
• Team research
• Training and further education
• Administrative tasks

Your profile:

• Very good Master’s degree, preferably in Information Systems, Management, or Computer Science with a focus on Information Systems
• The position requires very good knowledge in the fields of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), blockchain governance, smart contracts, token-based incentive systems, decentralisation, digital organisations
• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative empiricism and netnography
• First publication experience
• Basic knowledge of sentiment analysis (BERT-based models) and topic modelling
• Very good language skills (English), German language skills desirable 
• PhD intention is expected

• Ability to work in a team, communication skills
