Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Operation of large equipment: CNC production of precision mechanical components; care and maintenance of large equipment
• Conventional production of precision mechanical components
• Training and counselling, training of apprentices
• Organisation of the workshop

Your profile:

• Completed diploma or master's degree or equivalent qualification (e.g. HTL A-Level-Diploma and several years of relevant professional experience)
• Specialisation in mechanical engineering/toolmaking or training and experience as a precision mechanic
• Specialised knowledge in CNC programming and CNC manufacturing
• Good communication skills in German and English
• Ability to work independently and solve problems
• Communication skills when working with the institute's scientists and external companies
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate several simultaneous orders
• Flexibility and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to undergo further training

For this position in job group IIIb, a minimum gross salary of € 3.071 per month (14 times)^* is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
