Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Management of the Buildings and Infrastructure department, including coordination of construction activities, building operation and building management
• Independent implementation of construction and maintenance programmes together with external and internal partners
• Strategic building space management and development of sustainable and needs-based room and space concepts for the teaching, research and administrative areas of the University of Innsbruck
• Investment planning and budgeting of infrastructure and maintenance costs
• Structural and content-related further development of the department, in particular digitalisation of processes
• Contact person / negotiating partner for ministries, the Bundesimmobiliengesellschaft (BIG), the City of Innsbruck, the Province of Tyrol, authorities and professionals/companies

Your profile:

• Sound technical education, at least at diploma or master's level (university, FH)
• Several years of professional experience in the areas of construction, space and facility management
• Very good legal knowledge in the field of construction, employee protection, safety and fire protection
• High IT affinity and experience with common facility management programmes
• Business fluent in German and English
• Several years of experience in managing employees (employee span > 10 people)
• Excellent communication skills
• Independent, structured and honest way of working
• Professional and confident demeanour
• Enthusiasm, ability to work under pressure and time flexibility
• Networked thinking

For this position in job group IVb, a minimum gross salary of € 3.715 per month (14 times)^* is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
