University Assistant (PhD position)

• Department of Computer Science

Extent of employment:

• 20 hours per week; will be increased to 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Physics-based simulation, computer haptics, medical augmented reality
• Independent research in the field of physics-based simulation, computer haptics, medical augmented reality
• Independent teaching
• Student supervision and scientific publications Publications
• Training and further education
• Administrative tasks

Your profile:

• Completed Master's, Magister or Diplom degree in computer science or related fields
• Good knowledge of physics-based simulation, computer haptics and medical augmented reality
• Good knowledge of C/C++
• Good knowledge of English
• Experience in computer graphics is an advantage.
• Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
• Ability to work in a team
• Leadership and communication skills in student supervision
