Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Advice and support for UIBK researchers
• Processing of Open Access submissions
• Participation in working groups
• Carrying out training courses
• Acquisition

Your profile:

• Completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification or training in library and information management or completed FH degree programme for information professions or relevant professional experience
• Knowledge of the theoretical foundations and knowledge of current developments in the field of Open Access
• Experience in working with bibliographic databases or interest in acquiring knowledge in this area
• Very good knowledge of German (C2) and English (B2), both written and spoken
• Very good Office skills, especially Excel
• Very precise, structured and independent way of working
• High service and customer orientation
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness for further training

For this position in job group IIIb, a minimum gross salary of € 1.536 per month (14 times)^* is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
