Extent of employment:
- 20 hours per week; will be increased to 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed
Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Own research in the field of Nonequilibrium Quantum Field Theory and Nonequilibrium Quantum Phases of Matte
- Independent teaching in the field of theoretical physics
- Scientific publications
- Participation in conferences and congresses, advanced training courses
- Administrative tasks
Your profile
- Completed relevant master's, master's or diploma degree programme
- Sound knowledge in the field of theoretical physics, detailed knowledge of the theory of quantum matter and quantum circuits, cross-connections to quantum information theory and non-equilibrium phase transitions, research work and publications in the above-mentioned field desired
- Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
- Willingness to co-operate with the working group: Nonequilibrium Quantum Matter; social competence, ability to work in a team

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.857 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.785 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
