University Assistant (PhD position)
Start date/duration:

Administrative unit:
- Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Legal Procedure and Criminology
Extent of employment:
- 20 hours per week; will be increased to 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed
Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Criminal law or criminal procedure law, comparative criminal law, European criminal law or international criminal law
- Independent research in the above-mentioned areas
- Independent teaching
- Collaboration in research, participation in teaching
- Training and further education
- Administrative tasks
Your profile:
- Completed diploma programme in Austrian law or master's degree in business law or equivalent foreign studies
- Good academic record
- Special interest in criminal law
- good knowledge of English
- Ability to carefully edit texts
- Reliability, commitment and independence
- solid computer skills
- ability to work in a team
- Friendly nature in dealing with employees and students

.The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.857 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.785 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
