University Assistant (PhD position)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• FZ Computational Engineering
• Own research (= dissertation)
• Own teaching
• Supervision of students and assistance with written examinations
• Training and further education iwS
• Administrative tasks

Your profile:

• Relevant university diploma or master's degree in a relevant subject
• Sound knowledge of strength theory and structural analysis including the finite element (FE) method and FE programmes for non-linear structural analyses
• Good knowledge of the programming languages C++ and Python as well as numerical programme libraries
• Excellent German and very good English skills
• ability to work in a team
• Commitment in dealing with students
• Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application. (max. 5 pages)
