Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Analysing and assessing complex business cases in terms of tax law
• Preparation of tax law opinions and decision-making bases for the university management
• Coordinating content and liaising with internal and external partners
• Management of the sales and receivables accounting department
• Independent realisation of closing entries for project terminations and booking of tax-relevant special cases
• Advice and specialist information on tax law issues and participation in the further development of tax-related processes

Your profile:

• Completed diploma or master's degree with specialisation in tax law or equivalent qualification
• Completed accountant examination desirable
• Sound knowledge of Austrian tax law and the application of relevant tax regulations
• Several years of experience in dealing with complex tax law issues
• Experience in the public or non-profit sector is an advantage
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, high resilience and stress resistance
• A sense of responsibility, accuracy and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
• Ideally experience in team or project management

For this position in job group IVa, a minimum gross salary of € 3.390 per month (14 times)^* is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
