University Assistant (PhD position)

• for 4 years

Administrative unit:

• Department of Company and Taxation Law

Extent of employment:

• 20 hours per week; will be increased to 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Corporate and company law, banking and capital market law or private commercial law
• Own teaching and participation in innovative courses
• Own research and participation in corporate law research projects (preparation of textbooks, collaboration on commentaries, etc.)
• Participation in further training programmes
• Opportunity to attend conferences in Germany and abroad
• Independent publications in specialist journals
• Participation in the organisation of conferences
• Possibility of research stays abroad
• Management tasks

Your profile:

• Completed subject-related Master's, Magister or Diplom degree programme
• Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
• Ability to work in a team, enthusiasm, resilience
