Extent of employment:

• 20 hours per week; will be increased to 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Dissertation in the field of cloud, edge and fog computing
• Cloud, edge and fog computing
• Own research in the field of cloud, edge and fog computing
• Independent teaching
• Student supervision and scientific publications Publications
• Organisational and administrative tasks
• Training and further education

Your profile:

• Completed diploma or master's degree in computer science or related fields
• Knowledge in the areas of cloud, edge and fog computing, as well as data stream applications for the computing continuum
• Very good programming skills in Java and Python
• Good knowledge of English
• Knowledge of German is an advantage (courses in the undergraduate programme)
• Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
• ability to work in a team
• Leadership and communication skills in student supervision
