University Assistant (postdoc)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Independent research activities in the field of French linguistics
• Teaching
• Collaboration in organisational and administrative tasks

Your profile:

• Above-average completion of a relevant degree programme in French/French Studies or a subject-related diploma or master's degree programme with a focus on linguistics;
• Doctoral or PhD degree in Romance Linguistics (specialising in French) completed by the time you take up the post at the latest; academic publication and presentation experience;
• Ability to teach courses independently (4 SWS/semester) and to supervise students;
• Submission of a project outline for a research project in the field of French linguistics (max. 5 pages); French and German language skills at least C1 according to CEFR
• Desirable: research project or project in the field of media linguistics or linguistic pragmatics; university teaching experience in the field of French linguistics; good knowledge of Italian is an advantage
• Ability to work in a team, willingness to cooperate, commitment, high communicative competence

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for this position amounts to € 4.933 per month (14 times)^*.
