University Assistant (PhD position)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• International or comparative private law
• Own research
• Own teaching
• Collaboration on academic projects
• Training and further education
• Administrative tasks

Your profile:

• Completed master's or diploma degree in law or business law
• Strong knowledge of civil law (good academic record desired)
• Experience with academic work is an advantage; sound IT skills
• excellent knowledge of German
• Good knowledge of English (ideally also other foreign languages)
• Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
• ability to work in a team

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.857 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.785 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
