The candidate must be fluent in English, have a good command of German, be self-motivated, and work well both independently and within a team. Previous project management experience is preferred, and advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or Adobe Premiere would be a plus. A keen interest in helping cancer research and patients is a must.
The Cancer Epigenetics Society is an international Society headquartered in Vienna with members from 70 countries. Our mission is to support cancer epigenetics research to better understand cancer and accelerate discovery of novel cancer therapies. The candidate is expected to devote 10 hours per week to several projects in a fast-pace environment. This is an internship meant to further your skills in project management, and so candidates with previous project management experience are preferred. Advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or video editing software (for example Adobe Premiere) would be a plus. Ability to concomitantly work on several different projects, and experience running a crowdfunding campaign would be desirable. If successful, the intern may be offered a full-time position at the conclusion of the internship.
