Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Slavic literature/cultural studies
• Own research: Dissertation in the field of Slavic literary/cultural studies, preferably BKMS literatures/cultures and/or Russian/Russian-language literatures/cultures
• Teaching in the field of Slavic literary/cultural studies, preferably BKMS literatures/cultures and/or Russian/Russian-language literatures/cultures
• Participation in research and teaching at the institute
• Training and further education
• Participation in the academic self-administration of the institute

Your profile:

• Completed subject-relevant Master's or Diplom degree with a recognisable focus on Slavic literary/cultural studies (preferably in the field of BKMS literatures/cultures and/or Russian/Russian-language literatures/cultures); concept of the dissertation project and/or status of the dissertation to the extent of 2 pages;
• BKMS knowledge and/or knowledge of Russian at level B2/C1; knowledge of German, if not L1, then at least C1; knowledge of another Slavic language desirable
• Ability to work in a team, commitment, ability to work independently

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.857 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.785 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
