University Assistant (postdoc) (substitute employee)

Extent of employment:

  • 20 hours per week

Job Description:

Your tasks:

  • Research: Independent research in the field of Slavic linguistics with a focus on contemporary Russian; publication and presentation activities at an international level; participation in relevant research projects of the institute and/or the faculty
  • Teaching: Teaching in the BA and MA programmes in Slavic Studies as well as in the teacher training programme Russian in the field of Russian/Slavic linguistics
  • Administration: Participation in organisational and administrative tasks at the institute

Your profile:

  • PhD in the field of Russian or Slavic linguistics; relevant academic achievements beyond the dissertation (publications, lectures); research focus in the field of contemporary Russian; teaching experience in the field of Russian/Slavic linguistics; language skills in Russian (if not L1, then at least C1) and German (if not L1, then at least C1); knowledge of another Slavic language desirable
  • Ability to work in a team, commitment, ability to work independently

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for this position amounts to € 2.466 per month (14 times)*.
