Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Technical management of the Innsbruck Atmospheric Observatory (IAO)
- Organisation, programming, automation and maintenance of complex spectroscopic and meteorological instruments
- Project coordination of national and international research networks in the field of atmospheric sciences
- Independent organisation of courses and examinations
- Collaboration in the supervision of students, including supervision of bachelor theses
- Participation in organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures
Your profile
- Completed relevant Master's, or Diplom degree in STEM studies or atmospheric sciences or geosciences
- Experience in analytical measurement technology is an advantage (e.g. Absorption spectroscopy, chemiluminescence, or other measurement systems in the field of air quality or atmospheric physics and chemistry), good knowledge of programming (Matlab, Python etc.) and network technology is desirable.
- Willingness to work in the field (e.g. Maintenance of meteorological and chemical systems at the IAO and beyond)
- Leadership, teamwork and communication skills are essential, even under challenging conditions during laboratory and field research

For this position, a minimum gross salary of € 1.857 per month (14 times)*. Is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
