University Assistant (postdoc)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

  • Implementation of a clearly defined, internationally networked research programme in the field of global art history, current methods and issues relating to non-European, transcultural and transcontinental art history, art-historical exchanges and global networks from the early modern period to the present. Development of a third-party funded research project
  • Independent organisation of high-quality, research-led teaching
  • Collaboration in organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures

Your profile:

  • Completed relevant doctoral or PhD studies in the field of art history
  • Proven schol. Expertise in the field of global art history, cultural transfer research, its methods and theory development
  • Experience in acquiring third-party funding and, if applicable, managing third-party funded projects
  • Proof of relevant specialist publications in the field of global art history
  • Experience in research-led teaching
  • High level of social competence

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for this position amounts to € 4.933 per month (14 times)*.
