University Assistant (postdoc)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

  • Independent research activities in the field of "Mitochondrial regulation of age-associated changes in the immune response"
  • Independent organisation of courses and holding of examinations
  • Supervision of students incl. Supervision of bachelor theses
  • Participation in organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures
  • Continuing education

Your profile

  • Completed relevant doctoral or PhD studies in the field of biology or related subjects such as molecular biology, cell biology, immunobiology or molecular medicine
  • Publications in international scientific journals (peer-reviewed)
  • Sound knowledge in the field of mitochondrial metabolic regulation and ageing research
  • Experience in working with mouse models and common molecular biology methods
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Very high motivation, ability to work in a team, flexibility and willingness to communicate
  • Independence in everyday laboratory work

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for this position amounts to € 4.933 per month (14 times)*.
