Senior Lecturer (Diploma/Master)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Teaching: language teaching (English) to the extent of 16 credit hours
• Holding examinations and supervising students
• Participating in research projects
• Training and further education
• Participation in organisational and administrative tasks of the department

Your profile:

• Relevant Master's degree (preferably: Linguistics, Applied Language Studies, English Studies)
• TEFL or CELTA qualification (or MA with focus on TESOL/TEFL as equivalent) and practice/experience in language teaching (English) at university level, preferably in the humanities, up to at least level C1, practice/experience in creating teaching materials and curricula as well as exams
• Knowledge of English at level C2
• German language skills: at least level B2
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, creative problem-solving ability

For this position, a minimum gross salary of € 3.715 per month (14 times)^*. Is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
