University Assistant (PhD position)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Dissertation in the field of Interreligious Studies
• Collaboration at the Centre for Interreligious Studies
• Coordination of the Centre
• Collaboration on publications
• Support in the realisation of projects, conferences, workshops
• Participation in organisation and administration
• Independent teaching
• Independent research = dissertation
• Academic training and further education

Your profile:

• Completed Master's, Magister or Diplom degree or teacher training programme, preferably Islamic theology or religious education or interreligious studies or other relevant studies
• Desirable: experience in intercultural and interreligious work; experience abroad; pedagogical and didactic skills
• Good knowledge of English (B1)
• ability to work in a team

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.857 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.785 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
