University Assistant (PhD position)

- 20 hours per week; will be increased to 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed
Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Dissertation in the field of learning research/teacher education research
- Research in the field of qualitative modelling in teacher education/learning research
- Participation in the development and realisation of research projects as well as in publications
- Teaching in the area of educational science basics in the teacher training programme (secondary level general education)
- Collaboration in the conceptual and organisational development of the educational science foundations in teacher training (secondary level general education)
- Active participation in professional development programmes and events organised by the institute
Your profile:
- Strong competence in scientific theory and methodology
- Degree in Teacher Education (Master's/Diploma)
- Strong teamwork skills as well as active participation in the university context
- High conceptual and analytical skills
- High commitment in academic self-administration
- Ability to work under pressure and profound organisational skills
- Very good knowledge of English (B2/C1), knowledge of German (at least B1)
- Desirable: Competencies in empirical research, in particular experience in using qualitative analysis programmes
- Please enclose written reflections on a possible dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.857 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.785 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
