Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Independent organisation of courses (16 semester hours)
• Exam organisation and supervision
• Didactic and content-related further development of teaching materials
• Supervision of students
• Collaboration in the institute

Your profile:

• Completed university degree in economics, ideally with a specialisation in accounting
• Sound knowledge of external accounting in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB); knowledge of IFRS and auditing would be an advantage
• Knowledge of the application of artificial intelligence in teaching is an advantage
• Several years of teaching experience at university level in the field of accounting desirable
• Experience in the conception and correction of exams
• High didactic commitment and enjoyment of teaching
• Independent and structured way of working, ability to work in a team
• Knowledge of research methods and willingness to participate in current research projects an advantage
• Relevant publications are an advantage
• High level of communication skills: the ability to convey complex content clearly and appropriately to the target audience, both in a teaching context and in interdisciplinary dialogue
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to cooperate: willingness to actively collaborate with colleagues as well as with other departments and the administration
• Empathy and pedagogical skills: An appreciative, supportive approach to students, even in demanding or challenging situations
• Ability to criticise and reflect: Openness to feedback and continuous development of one's own teaching activities
• Intercultural sensitivity: Experience or openness in dealing with a diverse student body in an international university environment

For this position, a minimum gross salary of € 3.715 per month (14 times)^*. Is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
