Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Doctoral Dissertation in English Linguistics
• Research: especially within the context of the dissertation in English linguistics (desired focus of the dissertation: English pragmatics with a focus on interculturality)
• Collaboration on research projects
• Teaching: organising and teaching courses at BA level
• Supervision of students and bachelor theses
• Administration
• Training and further education

Your profile:

• Completed subject-related Master's, Magister or Diplom degree programme (with focus on English Linguistics)
• Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
• Language levels: English C2, German B1
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and didactic skills

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.857 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.785 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
