University Assistant (PhD position)
Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Area of motor control and/or motor learning, preferably with regard to postural stability or stability in the execution of dynamic movements or injury prevention applications.
- Independent research-led teaching in the field of sports science
- Participation in the supervision of students incl. Supervision of bachelor theses
- Education and training; participation in conferences and congresses; further training
- Administrative tasks; participation in the acquisition of third-party funds as well as organisational and administrative tasks
Your profile:
- Completed relevant Master's, Magister or diploma degree in the field of sports science, exercise science, kinesiology, natural sciences (especially physics), technical sciences, computer science, mathematics or a relevant thematic specialisation in medicine
- Experience in working with data analysis and statistics programmes
- Experience in the programming language Matlab or Phyton
- Enthusiasm for research into complex systems
- Excellent knowledge of relevant sports science disciplines
- The candidate should have excellent organisational and communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team but also take responsibility for driving their own project forward and guide students effectively
- Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages; preferably in English)
- Please also state which courses from the sports science curricula you could teach

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.857 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.785 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
