University Assistant (postdoc)
Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Collaboration in project proposals and ongoing research as well as independent research in the field of practical philosophy (preferred focus: Bioethics and medical ethics, ethics of vulnerability, ethics of the human-animal relationship). Research should be carried out in close cooperation with the Medical Humanities Research Centre
- Independent teaching on the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Philosophy and the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Ethics for Teachers
- Supervision of Bachelor's and Master's students
- Participation in organisational and administrative tasks
- Training and further education
Your profile:
- Completed doctoral studies in philosophy (preferably dissertation in the field of medical ethics), excellent general philosophical knowledge
- Experience in acquiring third-party funding
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Very good computer skills
- Ability to work in a team; communication skills; independence; organisational skills; ability to work under pressure; enjoyment of and commitment to supervising students

.The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for this position amounts to € 4.933 per month (14 times).
