University Assistant (postdoc)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Research in the field of quantum networks with atomic qubits and photonic structures.
• Independent organisation of courses and holding of examinations
• Supervision of students incl. Supervision of bachelor theses
• Participation in organisational and administrative tasks within the framework of academic self-administration and evaluation measures

Your profile:

• Completed doctoral or PhD studies in experimental physics
• Experience in the field of cold atoms, in particular quantum control of atoms
• Setup of ultracold atom experiments, including profound knowledge in laser cooling and atom traps
• Excellent publications
• Ability for good scientific writing and high-quality publishing
• Ability to work in a team
• Problem solving skills
