University Assistant (postdoc) (substitute employee)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Independent research activities in the field of solid state chemistry (synthesis under high pressure conditions & analytics, in particular single crystal X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy in combination with EDX)
• Independent organisation of courses and holding of examinations
• Supervision of students incl. Supervision of bachelor theses
• Collaboration in organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures
• Continuing education

Your profile

• Completed relevant doctoral or PhD studies as well as experience in high-pressure synthesis, structure elucidation on single crystals and analysis using electron microscopy in combination with EDX
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to communicate in an interdisciplinary environment
